Founded in 2006 by Gabriel James Moskolis, Lymelite clothing represent s the contradictory elements and cultural fusion of Chicago, IL. Born September 28th, in South Bend, IN, you will see the number 928 often riddled though out the original graffiti of this up and coming designer. Knowing from a young age that fashion was his calling, Gabriel attended design school and was drawn to the heartbeat of Chicago. When the opportunity arose to follow his passion that is exactly what he did. Dedicated to showing the edgier side of an often overlooked Midwest, Gabriel looks to his surroundings to find inspiration and push casual trends to a higher level. Using his talent as a painter and graffiti artist, as well as his experience and training, he developed this ever growing empire we now know as Lymelite Clothing. He is also known for his large scale murals commissioned by everyone from residences to retail spaces.

In true Lymelite form, Gabriel takes the manufacturing of his product very seriously. Painstakingly testing and sampling dozens of potential warehouses before determining the finest quality available. All promotion, production and distribution is done locally, supporting the city that inspired him from the beginning. Every piece is personally approved and handpicked by Gabriel himself. This, along with his eye-catching artwork contributed to the success of his debut launch in 2007, “Art Imitating Life”. This red carpet fashion show caught the attention of numerous boutiques landing him an opportunity to design for Lucky Brand Inc. He then went on to feature his line of shirts at 450 Buckle stores nationwide. In fall of 2010 he celebrated his 3 year anniversary at Club Cuna in Lincoln Park, the audience was filled from fans from miles away and multiple vendor sponsorships. The models, of every race, style and size flaunted Gabriel’s designs in their own fashion. Urban, punk, alternative, couture, athletic, innocent- Lymelite is a lifestyle for anyone daring enough to be themselves.

His designs are about individuality and belonging at the same time. Identifying to a common beat, no matter what your style, background, race or lifestyle, a trait most beloved about the Midwest Mecca we call Chicago. High end, urban, diverse, open-minded, expressive, carefree and dedicated- all contradictions anyone can relate to in a Lymelite state of mind.
